IPS Group has recently completed the roof works and rain screen cladding to this school extension along with a refurbishment of existing Copper roof areas at Alma Primary School.
The extension roofs are fitted with Topdek 71mm Composite Panel, utilising Rubberfuse Membrane, all installed to a cold rolled purlin and cleat system. The upstands to the parapet are complete with SFS to main steel works, 18mm Plywood and 50mm PIR Insulation. The weathering completed with Rubberfuse ST Single Ply Membrane. The roof perimeters are finished with in-house manufactured Rubberfuse Sheet Laminated Metal Trims.
The two copper roofs have been replaced with Rubberfuse Single Ply Membrane in Copper Green. The build up consists of a new 18mm Plywood mechanically fixed to the existing rafters, 90mm Kingspan TR27 Insulation mechanically fixed to achieve a U-Value of 0.25, Rubberfuse Membrane has then been adhered and the roof completed using a Rubberfuse Standing Seam Profile.
Alupanel Rainscreen Cladding System has been installed utilising Galv Top Hat and Nvelope Aluminium Support System. A U-Value of 0.35 was achieved using 60mm Kingspan K15Rainscreen Insulation to CP Board. All Rain Screen Cladding is fixed using colour matched rivets. All complimented with an aluminium drip trim to the top of the brickwork below the Rainscreen Cladding.
